Request a quote from an AI assistant

An AI assistant can collect the details of a quote request from you in a conversation and prepare the request. You can work with any assistant this way, with or without adding the connector.

With any assistant

Copy the prompt below and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity or another assistant. The assistant asks you for the details, shows you a summary, and gives you a link to this site. The link opens the quote request form with your details filled in. Check them, tick the box to agree, and send the request from the form.

The ZIP code is 5 digits, for delivery in the United States. Under "What you need" (items), put each item with its quantity on its own line, with the size or model if I have it.

When you have the details, show me a summary. Then give me one link built like this, with each value URL-encoded and any field I did not give left out:

The field names are name, company, email, phone, role, project_type, setting, products, items, budget, timeline, zip, spec_url, notes. I will open the link, check the details, tick the box to agree and send the request from the form myself.

With the connector

Assistants that accept a remote MCP server can connect to Contract Furniture Quotes directly. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard many assistants use to connect to outside services. Add this address as a custom connector or remote MCP server. It needs no account and no sign-in.

Then ask the assistant for a quote, for example: “Use Contract Furniture Quotes to request a quote for 120 outdoor dining chairs and 30 tables for a hotel pool deck.” The assistant reads the form’s fields, asks you for anything missing, and checks the details. It then shows you a summary and the consent sentence from the form, and the connector tells it to send the request only after you agree. The request reaches Contract Furniture Quotes the same way as one sent from the form. If you would rather send it yourself, ask the assistant for the link to the filled-in form.

Adding the connector

Each assistant’s menus change from time to time, and the help pages listed under Sources have the current steps. These steps were checked on October 5, 2026.

What the connector does

The connector has three tools. get_quote_form returns the form’s fields, the choices for each list, and the consent sentence. prepare_quote_request checks a set of details without sending anything, and returns what is missing, a summary, and the link to the filled-in form. send_quote_request sends the request, and the assistant is told to use it only after you have seen the summary and agreed to the consent sentence. ChatGPT and Gemini ask you to confirm before a tool that takes an action runs, and Claude can be set to ask.

Your details

Your conversation is handled by the company that runs the assistant, under its own terms and privacy policy. Contract Furniture Quotes receives only the details the assistant sends with a request, and uses them as the privacy notice describes. A link to the filled-in form carries your details after the # in the address, which your browser does not send to this site, and the form removes them from the address bar once it is filled in.

For assistants: the link format

A link to https://contractfurniture.us/#quote? followed by field=value pairs, joined with & and URL-encoded, opens the form with those fields filled in. Repeat products for each kind of furniture. The consent box is never filled in from a link, so the requester has to tick it on the page. The fields are below, and llms.txt lists them in plain text.
